Partner(s): China Scholarship Council (CSC) – https://www.csc.edu.cn/ Citizenship requirement: Yes; Chinese citizenship If you are unclear about if your citizenship status is eligible, please contact the CSC Eligible institutions in China: View eligibility list for China – no other institutions can be added Eligible applicants: Full-time undergraduate students Eligible disciplines: All disciplines Minimum cumulative grade point average: 85% Language requirements: Yes Candidates must pass language proficiency exam requirements by meeting one of the following criteria: English major sophomore or above Have studied in an English-speaking country for over 8 months Passed the National Foreign Language Proficiency Test (WSK) Attend advanced English class designated by the Ministry of Education and obtained the certificate of completion Meet the IELTS (academic) 6.5 or TOEFL-95 or above. Certificates and proof of exam to be submitted to the CSC and not Mitacs. Meet the requirement of Mitacs through an interview with a proved document or be listed in the invitation letter. Candidates will be required to submit their language proficiency to the CSC before travelling. Additional requirements: If you are successful in securing an offer from Mitacs, please register with the CSC before December 30 24:00, 2026. Please visit the CSC website to learn how you can register: 国家公派留学管理信息平台 (csc.edu.cn) If you have any questions about registering with the CSC, please contact your home university. Note that you will not be accepted into the Globalink program if you do not meet both Globalink and CSC eligibility requirements and complete both applications. All candidates must be able to complete three full months of internship without interruption, extension or shortening the duration. A three-month internship is 90 days long. No exceptions will be provided. Applicants are required to submit their student ID on the registration platforms. The applicant should graduate between January 1st, and December 30th, 2028.
